Combining Physical and Virtual Testing
from prototype to reality
Event Type:Seminar Location: Paris,France Date: June 3, 2008

Simulation only approximates reality…but test is not reality
either!
Combining physical testing and virtual testing makes full sense.
Engineers and experts from CAE teams as well as from test
laboratories know that a combined approach of techniques is the
right way to get close understanding of the behavior of products in
real situations.
But the optimal combination of physical testing in relation to
virtual testing will vary from company to company. It depends on
the physics, on the context, on the industry constraints or on the
type of products being developed at each company. The key is the
right correlation and the right process to do it.
The seminar aims to clarify these critical issues through a couple
of keynote presentations and a panel of multi applications
examples.
We invite all engineers concerned by this theme to register for
this seminar or to contact NAFEMS France (francois.costes@nafems.org
) to discuss presentation opportunities.
