TCN CAE 2008 & EnginSoft Conference 2008

Bringing together the Industrial, Scientific and Educational Worlds of Simulation

On 16th & 17th October, users of CAE and virtual prototyping technologies from industry and academia attending the EnginSoft Conference 2008, the ANSYS Italian Conference 2008 will meet and interact with scientists, researchers, engineers of TCN CAE 2008, the international forum dedicated to computational science and engineering – and vice versa.

The NH Laguna Palace Hotel in Venice/Mestre will provide a made-to-measure location for the fusion of the three main conferences bringing together the industrial, scientific and educational worlds of simulation.

The TCN CAE 2008 Conference Program will include an opening plenary session with eminently respectable speakers on 16th October focusing on the four pillars of TCN:
Academia – Industry – Research – Software.
The conference language is English with scientific themes including Medicine (Computational Bioengineering, Biomechanics, Biomedical), Materials (multi-scale approaches), MDO, Robust Design & Decision Making and Education (in Computational Science and Engineering). On 17th October, topics in Simulation-based Engineering will highlight multi-disciplinary approaches in the four main industries of Automotive, Aerospace, Power Energy (Oil & Gas and other) and Process & Manufacturing.

The EnginSoft Conference 2008 will be mostly conducted in Italian language, but will also offer highlights to the international audience, such as the large accompanying exhibition situated in the middle of the conference center with international software and hardware vendors.

EnginSoft will host the Italian Users’ Meetings of
ANSYS, modeFRONTIER, MAGMA and FORGE. During the first day of the Conference, EnginSoft will propose an high number of technical workshops dedicated to specific topics together with some hands-on seminars. On the second day, there will be four technical sessions dedicated to Industrial applications of CAE in larger industrial sectors.
