 Invitation to Tender - How to Analyse Practical Problems
The Education and Training Working Group
wish to Commission a new book entitled “How to Analyse
Practical Problems”.
This book is aimed at a graduate level industrial user who is
inexperienced in practical finite element analysis but who wishes
to start using either stand-alone or CAD embedded FE packages for
such purposes. The object of the deliverable is to describe
in detail a number of practical problems, about 6 in all. The
problems should be of a diverse nature within the fields of stress,
thermal and dynamics behaviour, preferably including some non
–linear behaviour. They should reflect typical industrial
applications.
