When does ‘the future’ become ‘the norm’?

As the international association dedicated to engineering analysis and simulation, NAFEMS is the independent voice of the CAE community, representing over 1300 member organisations worldwide, including all the major software vendors, global manufacturing industry, and leading academic institutions.

The NAFEMS UK Conference 2018 will bring together all those involved in analysis and simulation from every corner of industry and academia, giving you an opportunity to advance your knowledge, give your organisation a competitive advantage, and be part of improving the technology itself.

There is simply no other event which provides this independent vision at a local level, backed-up by the strength that an international organisation spanning almost every country in the world affords.

The 1st NAFEMS Academic Symposium

For the first time, the UK Conference 2018 will also incorporate the 1st NAFEMS Academic Symposium – “Big Education – Big Simulation Issues”. Education is at the heart of NAFEMS and this symposium will address the issues facing individuals and organisations engaged in education and training, in support of the effective use of analysis and simulation technologies.

It is expected that this interactive event will be hosted by engineers, who have been involved in Education and Training throughout their careers and have extensive experience of both traditional and CAD-embedded systems.

The goal of the event is to hold breakout sessions to explore some of the key issues involved in the above topic areas and how NAFEMS can improve its engagement with University academic staff and students.
