InterEngineering is now officially part of the EqualEngineers family, as their dedicated LGBTQ+ Network.
It represents their unwavering commitment to supporting and amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ engineers and their allies.

With the EqualEngineers LGBTQ+ Network, they are creating a space where everyone can connect, lead, and thrive.

Meet Patrick Murray Whitham (or 'Poggy'), an experienced Engineer, Sales and Business Development Manager, and Senior Manager within the Electrical, Electronic and Automation Engineering sector. A professionally accredited engineer by several institutions, Poggy is black, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, and has represented marginalised groups at numerous levels across various types of organisations.

Alongside Poggy, we welcome Fiona Connor. Fiona is a senior geotechnical design engineer and Chartered Geologist. Through starting her career in a site-based role has taken a proactive approach to promoting diversity and inclusion across the engineering sectors, sitting on various industry forums. She is keen to be a visible role model, and specifically a visible lesbian engineer.
