NAFEMS look to form Structural Dynamics Working Group  

NAFEMS are seeking to form a working group that will take ownership of all aspects of Structural Dynamics Engineering Analysis and Simulation. As well as providing best practice guidance on how to undertake dynamic modelling and simulation, the Structural Dynamics Working Group is expected to have a strong focus on the integration of simulation with test. 

The working group is expected to have an international reach. Due to the breadth of the technical area that will be covered it is envisaged that the group will be structured with a steering committee supported by multiple subgroups. A provisional structure along with an indication of the simulation tools and areas where the group is expected to be active is shown in the Figure below. 

The working group is expected to be launched in early 2018.
