GLASGOW, UK, JANUARY 24TH 2011 - NAFEMS, the International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, have announced a revised and updated training course on Finite Element Analysis, “A Practical Introduction to FEA”.
Drawing on twenty-five years of experience in FEA education, NAFEMS has involved a number of recognised industry experts in the development of the new material, culminating in the launch of this new three-day training course. The first run of the course will take place in March 2011 over three-days, with details available on the NAFEMS website.
“As we all know, FEA technology is constantly evolving and developing, and as the only independent international association dedicated to engineering analysis, we are conscious that training needs to keep pace with these changes”, commented Tim Morris, CEO at NAFEMS. “Through listening to our delegates and taking their feedback on board, we have refined and developed the original course, which has been running in the same format for some time, to produce an improved course which more closely meets the needs of the analysis community”.
As part of NAFEMS’ commitment to the continuous professional development of all those involved in FEA, CFD and associated technologies, the long-established Education and Training Working group, which comprises members from industry, academia and software vendors, review and approve all training offered by NAFEMS. Feedback and results are constantly monitored to ensure that the training offered by NAFEMS is of the highest standard as required by industry.
In addition to the newly developed course, the NAFEMS training program also includes regular physical training courses in France and Germany, and an ever-expanding program of online learning, which is available to delegates across the globe, no matter where they are located.
“We feel that it is vital to offer the training that is really needed by industry”, Mr Morris added. “Only by offering a comprehensive program of education, which is available to as wide an audience as possible, can we be sure that we are meeting the needs of all involved in the industry. The launch of this new course is a further step forward in our continued efforts to enhance the independent engineering analysis training available, and we are determined that our training offerings will continue to evolve and improve with the needs of the industry as a whole.”
Places on the “Practical Introduction to FEA” course start at only £645 per delegate, and are available from the NAFEMS website at . The course fees include three days training, lunch and refreshments, and a complete set of printed notes for each delegate. In-house courses can also be arranged at a significant discount for ten or more attendees from one company, at a date and location to suit you.
