NAFEMS announces Nordic Regional Conference on Trends and Future Needs in Engineering Simulation

NAFEMS announces the Nordic Regional Conference

NAFEMS is an independent not-for-profit body with the sole aim of promoting the effective use of engineering simulation methods such as finite element analysis, multibody system dynamics and computational fluid dynamics.

The organization announces the biannual NAFEMS Nordic Regional Conference 2010, being held 26th - 27th October 2010 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Entitled “Trends and Future Needs in Engineering Simulation”, the conference will give delegates an unrivalled independent insight into best practices and state-of-the-art which consequently show upcoming trends, tendencies and necessary future needs in FEA, CFD, MBS and associated technologies. The two-day conference aims to increase awareness and provide a discussion forum for topics that are important and relevant to engineering industrialists and academics.

NAFEMS invites analysts, engineers, team leaders or managers to attend either as speaker, delegate or exhibitor. The event is open to both, members and non-members of NAFEMS, with members able to attend the event for free, as part of their membership benefits package.

The conference will be accompanied by a hardware and software exhibition as well as by the FEA basic training course: From Conventional Stress Calculations to Finite Element Analysis, October 25th - 27th , 2010.

Abstract submission is open until June 18th , 2010 (e-mail to nordic@nafems.org ).
