NAFEMS Announce Media Partners for NWC09

NAFEMS, The International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, have announced two Media Partnerships for the upcoming World Congress in Crete, Greece, on June 16th-19th 2009.

Engineering Magazine, and Eureka Magazine, have both partnered with NAFEMS for this, the 12th biennial World Congress to be organised by NAFEMS.

For the past 20 years, the NAFEMS World Congress has brought together the leading minds in the simulation and analysis world, from industrial practitioners, consultancies, academic researchers and software developers. The Congress has become a fixture for the simulation community, and NWC09 promises to be the largest and most successful event of its kind.

For over 135 years, Engineering magazine has reported significant events from the world of manufacturing. Today the magazine continues to report progress in manufacturing techniques, information technology, product development, finance and distribution.

For more than 25 years, Eureka has been bringing the latest technology news and innovation to UK design engineers and design management.

David Quinn, Head of Marketing & Communications at NAFEMS, commented, "We are delighted to welcome Engineering and Eureka on board as Official Media Partners for the NAFEMS World Congress 2009. The support of both of these widely respected publications further emphasises the importance of the World Congress in the analysis and simulation calendar, and we hope to work closely with our media partners to ensure that the event provides genuine benefits to all attendees and supporters, as well as proving real value for money for all those who take part"

Tim Morris, NAFEMS CEO, added, "We are delighted to report that the response to the event so far has been overwhelming.  As well as the traditional conference sessions, the Congress this year will also include a series of other events which have been especially selected for the benefits that they can bring to the delegates. We are confident that the 2009 NAFEMS World Congress will be the International Congress of the year on Simulation Technology for the
Engineering Analysis Community."

Earlybird registration is available until March 31st 2009. Full details, as well as the prelimary agenda, location and travel information, can be found at the NWC09 website, at www.nafems.org/congress
