There are now a few important steps to take before the Congress.
It is vital that you complete everything by the deadline specified, otherwise, your final paper and/or presentation may be rejected and removed from the agenda, even if the abstract has been accepted.
Your presentation
You have two options for giving your presentation:
- Pre-record your presentation then be available for live Q&A
- Present live online
1. Pre-record your presentation
The deadline for pre-recorded presentation videos is now September 30th 2021
- Send to nwc21@nafems.org using a file transfer service such as wetransfer.com or similar
- Presentations must use the NWC21 template here without exception
- Your recording should last no more than 15 minutes. If your video lasts longer, it will be rejected, and resubmission will be required. No exceptions.
- Use PowerPoint's built-in slide recorder, record a Zoom meeting screenshare, or use Camtastia or similar tools for the recording
- Recording Specification
- Resolution: Full HD - 1920 x 1080
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
- Frame rate: 25fps
- Maximum bitrate: 7Mbps
- Format: MP4
- IMPORTANT - Remember to name your file after your abstract submission ID!!! i.e. NWC21-XXX.mp4

2. Present live online
If you plan to present live online, you must submit your PowerPoint slide-deck file by September 30th, 2021
- Presentations must use the NWC21 template here without exception.
- Microsoft PowerPoint format only (ppt or pptx)
- Send to nwc21@nafems.org using a file transfer service such as wetransfer.com or similar if necessary
- If your PPT includes videos, check that these are linked or embedded correctly, and can run on computers other than the machine you created it on.
- Each presentation is allocated 20 minutes in total, usually 15 minutes presentation, with 5 minutes for questions. Overruns will be cut short by the session chairman.
- IMPORTANT - Remember to name your file after your abstract submission ID!!! i.e. NWC21-XXX.pptx

How do I get the discounted presenter rate?
We have sent discount codes to all presenters, which you can use on the website to get the presenter rate. If you haven't received this, email us at nwc21@nafems.org or call +44(0)1355 225688
My code doesn't work
Make sure you are using the correct code - the codes for onsite and online registration are different and are not interchangeable.
Where do I enter the code on the website?
Just before you click "pay by card" or "invoice me" at the checkout. The code box is just above these buttons.
How many presenters can get the presenters rate?
Only one discounted presenter registration per presentation. Any registrations which use discount codes they are not eligible for will be rejected.
Declaration and optional manuscript
The manuscript deadline has now passed (August 2nd 2021). If you have not submitted your declaration, please do so ASAP, or contact nwc21@nafems.org
