Call for Presentations

Simulation Engineering in the Automotive Industry Seminar

Call for Presentations

Call for papers estimated to be open June 1st.

NAFEMS openly requests presentations highlighting innovative content regarding electric vehicles (e-motors / battery) and/or autonomous vehicle technologies as they relate to engineering analysis & simulation for its 2025 seminar on "Simulation Engineering in the Automotive Industry: Automotive Hybrid Technologies, Electrification, ADAS and CAE Process Democratization."

The impact of simulation and the extent to which it is deployed can vary considerably depending on company size. NAFEMS encourages input and participation from a wide range of organizations – large and small, across all domains that utilize engineering analysis and simulation in the above-mentioned areas.

Please note, as NAFEMS is an independent and vendor-neutral organization, all submissions must avoid any overt commercialism.

Event themes:

  • Automotive Hybrid Technologies
  • Electrification
  • ADAS
  • CAE Process Democratization

Topics within those themes for paper submissions include...

  • Driving simulation
  • Integrated simulations
  • Digital Engineering
  • Machine Learning
  • Digital twins/threads
  • Manufacturing
  • Materials
  • EVs
  • Battery technology
  • Crash/Impact/ Safety
  • NVH
  • Thermal management
  • Light-weighting
  • Sustainability/recyclability
  • CFD

Submission Requirements

As a first step, abstracts of 300-600 words should be submitted for consideration.

Abstracts should be clearly marked with the presentation title, author's name(s), organization(s), address(es), phone number(s) and email address(es) using the template provided below.
