This short report presents summaries of those research activities funded by the EC that incorporate or have relevance to those areas of continuum analysis which involve numerical methods. They were extracted from the total range of programmes funded by the EC (i.e. more than ESPRIT and BRITE/EURAM). The report is dated in that the information only applies at the time of the survey.
