Faced with a constant onslaught of data, engineers have, in the last few years, espoused new capabilities brought by AI, machine learning, and data-driven approaches to help advance the state of modeling and simulation. What comes next is expected to further address the gaps and limitations of existing modeling frameworks and enable breakthroughs in the engineering and scientific fields. We believe that three areas are of critical relevance to the diverse fields of engineering and have the potential to significantly advance the realm of what is currently feasible with existing engineering analysis and simulation capabilities.
