The last forty years have been quite the ride, haven’t they? We’ve gone from trying to convince test engineers that simulation results could be accurate to simulating some objects without any physical tests at all. From room-sized computers to palm-sized ones with greater compute capability. From simulation and analysis as a specialist-only function to embedding it in many workflows. It’s been incredible progress so far. So, what might the next forty years bring?
