Major League Baseball (MLB) has historically been, and will always be, a game of statistics. Hundreds of different data points, both offensive and defensive, are tracked, analyzed, and strategized by organizations to try and gain an edge over opponents. In recent years, technology has come online that allows for the study of how well a baseball player pairs with their bat using high-speed cameras and software that creates and presents real-time analytics.
