Stressed-Strained State of Rock Mass on Influence of Blast-Hole Hydraulic Breaking Device on it

This paper on "Stressed-Strained State of Rock Mass on Influence of Blast-Hole Hydraulic Breaking Device on it" was presented at the NAFEMS World Congress on The Evolution of Product Simulation From Established Methods to Virtual Testing & Prototyping - 24-28 April 2001, The Grand Hotel, Lake Como, Italy.

Introduction to Paper

In the paper the problems of interacting the collet working element of a blast-hole hydraulic breaking device with the rock mass in which a blasthole is collared beforehand are considered. The radial outward-pressing force and the axial separating force are simultaneously applied to the blast-hole walls. The stressed-strained state of the rock mass has been studied with the use of the simulating program ANSYS based on the finite element analysis.
