Abstract

In January 1994, Strucom Consulting Engineers (SCE) became the first (and is still the only) organisation to be certified by NAFEMS QA Ltd for compliance with the requirements of Quality System ISO 9001 and NAFEMS Quality System Supplement (QSS) to ISO 9001 relating to numerical analysis in the design and validation of engineering products. This paper outlines the requirements of the QSS and the procedures implemented by SCE in order to meet those requirements.
