Best Decision of the Geotechnical Problems in the Light of Multi-Valued Logic

This paper on "Best Decision of the Geotechnical Problems in the Light of Multi-Valued Logic" was presented at the NAFEMS World Congress on Design, Simulation & Optimisation: Reliability & Applicability of Computational Methods - 9-11 April 1997, Stuttgart, Germany.

Abstract

In our opinion. the objectivity and subjectivity are two component pans of the cognitive process based on the logical principles of our relationship with the real word. Analysis performed within the confines of separate disciplines is not perfect one for a good decision making and sometimes leads to contraction outcomes which may force the decision-maker to make a bad decision when his perception of the real word is insufficient. This study is not only captured in the language of mathematics but is basically carried out in order to understand the cognitive process and to develop a framework for a solution of the multicriterial decision making problems.
