This presentation was made at the NAFEMS France Seminar "Simulation for electric mobility" supported by the SIA (Société des Ingénieurs de l'Automobile) held on the 13th of November in Paris.

The electrification of transport and future regulations pose complex new problems for R&D engineers with the need to radically rethink the design and validation paradigms. New architectures and innovative development methods will impact the simulation of systems, the exploration of new breakthrough solutions through high performance and real-time simulation, the massive exploration of experience and IoT data and the development of digital twins, simulation of multi-material assembly processes, energy management and battery charging were all explored in this seminar
