 Webinars
Increasingly, NAFEMS is looking to new technology in order to
deliver education and training to its members and the analysis
community in general. The first NAFEMS Webinar took place in
January 2007, allowing attendees from across the globe to come
together in an online seminar. Technology now gives everyone the
opportunity to participate and attend "events" online, without
having to leave their desk.
Additionally, holding events in this way allows those who did not
"attend" to view the webinar on their computer at their leisure,
providing a valuable archive for NAFEMS members.
A programme of webinars is now in progress, following the success
of the first event, and NAFEMS plan to deliver a series of these
events in 2008 and beyond.

Special Opportunity for NAFEMS Members:
A special opportunity is being provided to the members
of NAFEMS. You can now advertise your company/product to the
hundreds of individuals who attend the NAFEMS webinars each month.
For a nominal fee, you can include one magazine-type advertisement
(landscape orientation) for attendees to view prior to the webinar.
In addition, the host of the webinar will recognize your company as
a sponsor of the event at the beginning and end of the webinar.
The opportunity to advertise during the NAFEMS Monthly Webinar
Series will offered on a limited basis—first-come, first
serve. Our goal is to ensure that all attendees continue to receive
highly technical, unbiased information each month.
