As the only independent international organisation dedicated to the
engineering analysis community, NAFEMS is always invovled in a
number of external projects with other organisations in the
European Community and beyond.
Indeed, NAFEMS co-ordinates and manages international collaboration
initiatives throughout the world of simulation, most recently
coordinating the EU funded FENet
project, as well as managing and directing the current Autosim
initiative.
NAFEMS members benefit significantly from our involvement in this
type of project, by having the opportunity to get involved at
all stages. As well as being in a position to influence project
direction, provide feedback which is truely taken onboard, and
benefit from the outcomes and findings of major cross-industry
initiatives, NAFEMS members can not only follow and adopt
state-of-the-art - they can shape the future of the technology.
